Olympics media centre and beer …

Interesting story in the Independent for all of those following the 2012 Olympics development story who also enjoy a beer – and I know there are a few of you out there.

Apparently two enterprising east Londoners are reviving Truman’s beer, which stopped being brewed in 1989, and they have approached the Olympic Park Legacy Company about taking up residence in the Olympics media centre post-Games.

At first glance it’s hard to imagine how the OPLC and Hackney’s aspirations for media and technology tenants would sit alongside a mini-brewery. On second thoughts …
